GENERAL HANDLING TOOLS:
TROLLEYS: you see them in the picture below: you can hook 10-30 hung clothes per trolley, (recorded limits are 8 heavy jackets and 42 slim skirts) and you can push manually up to 15-20 trolleys at the same time because of the special way they are built. They are made in steel and plastics and they have special articulated joint to absorb curves.
SWITCHES: in the picture you can also see a switch: it's in its upright position (off) and this way trolleys go straight ahead. When it's pulled down (on) trolleys change direction and go to the overhead track on the left in the picture case. They can be right or left and they are made in steel and plastics with a special grip to keep it in the chosen position.
OVERHEAD TRACKS: Tracks for trolleys.
SUPPORT FOR OVERHEAD TRACKS: those supports are special because they must permit trolleys to move with no interference.
SIDE TRACKS WITH SUPPORT FOR STOCKING: this is a very important point to understand our system: overhead tracks where trolleys run usually have two side tracks for stocking clothes (one each side). We call them tracks but clothes remain still on them.
Let's see how we store clothes since they arrive: they come by truck (lorry) and we unload them putting hangers on trolleys and sending trolleys to overhead tracks manually or by a loader (unloader in this case). Then we push groups of trolleys (it's easy and smooth because trolleys rolls perfectly, so just the last one has to be pushed) to where we want to stock clothes (probably after a series of controls, sorting and labeling). If the stocking area it's on a different level we use hoisters. When we arrive to the final area, we take off hangers from trolleys and we put hangers on different tracks (we just called them side tracks) where clothes will remain still until the time we want to forward them. So, clothes are stocked not on trolleys, but directly on side tracks and trolleys are used just to move them across the building.

The loader works to load and unload automatically hung clothes (on trolleys full of hangers) from conveyances so that there is a consistent save of time and labor and elimination of problems like garments getting dirty or unfolded .
What we are really proud of is the complete operational flexibility: machinery shifts in height (0-1 meters according to the height of vehicles) and in length to make up for progressive empty (or loading) of the truck. Overhead tracks that link to the warehouse can anytime be adjusted in height so that loading-unloading can go or come indifferently from ground floor or first floor; this way handling is easier, faster and with a broad range of solutions.

In warehouses we manage, clothes move between different levels by means of automatic inclined hoister: we do think they are better than vertical elevator hoist or lift because they work continuously (vs. batch as elevator), they do not require human supervision and they have less bureaucratic requirements (for lift there are many standards to follow). This machine measures the length of strips of different materials (cloth, elastic web, weave, leather) taken by stocking coils.
Many tasks are performed by this machine:
• measuring of materials to send to fashion department (internal or external to the firm) because strips are utilized to finish and trim clothes. Precise measurement brings save of time compared to manual measurement (in addition the coil is rewinded automatically will manually this operation must be performed later) and brings save of material since strips are sent with the correct and exact length.
